Foot update

So, How's the foot?

About a month ago, shortly after announcing that I was planning to spend five months walking from Maine to Georgia on the Appalachian Trail, I woke up with an unsettling pain in my foot.
*Crap*
Fast forward.
I've been on a roller coaster. A few days with pain, a few days fine, then around again. I went to the clinic, which didn't help. I talked to a few doctors, who told me to get a cushioned insole. That helped... a bit. I started wrapping it with KT tape. That helped... a little more. I thought I had kicked it for a while, but it kept coming back. My dad told me I should go get it checked out from a legitimate foot doctor, one I saw when I was a lot younger. Sounded smart to me.
After taking some x-rays, he told me that he didn't feel that there was any reason to delay the start of my trip. He gave me some medication to help it, some tape to help immobilize my toe, and encouragement to pick up some shoes with a stiffer toe area.
Hopefully the combination of all of these tactics will help me to hit the trail healthy.

I am also currently trying to sort out travel plans and a start date. June 20?

34 days!
